세상에 드러나지 않은 미지의 장소, JMTOWN이 존재한다.
어디에, 어떻게, 왜, 언제부터 있는지 그 누구도 모르는 곳. 그러나 우리 인간 세계의 시초부터 함께 존재했던 곳.
<EP.1> Into The Unknown:
JMTOWN, an unknown place that is not revealed in the world.
Where, How, Why? No one knows!
But where it's been together since the beginning of our human world.
<EP.2> Agents, guardians of JMTOWN:
JMTOWN, a place that has preserved the peace of taste in the world. With strict rules, everyrthing has been done. And something called “agents” live in groups by their own rules and order.
JMTOWN은 세계 맛의 평화를 지켜온 곳.
철저한 규칙에 입각해 돌아가는 곳이었으며, ‘요원’이라고 불리는 자들이 무리를 지어 자신들만의 규칙과 질서에 의해 살고 있다.
<EP.3 > Agents of Legend:
There are agents X, Y, and Z, who have been friends in the neighborhood for a long time. X has been responsible for salty taste, Y has been responsible for sweet taste, and Z has been in charge of spicy taste. Each agent has a clear personality and characteristics. But Agent X, also known as the “troublemaker”, has a lot of curiosity. There’s a saying. “If X is quiet, there’s something going on somewhere!”
오래전부터 동네 친구인 요원 X, Y, Z이 있다. X는 짠 맛을, Y는 단 맛을 그리고 Z는 매운 맛을 담당해왔다. 각자 성격과 특성이 뚜렷하지만, 호기심이 유독 많아 일명 ‘사고 뭉치’로 불리는 요원 X, 그가 조용하다면 어디선가 일이 터진다.
<EP.4> Something happens!:
X witnessed an unusual phenomenon in Korea in the human world while looking at the navigator (agents’ special map). How can X not be curious about it?
X는 네비게이터 (드랍스만의 맛 지도)를 보던 와중에 인간세계의 한국에 특이한 현상이 나타난 것을 목격하는데.. 호기심이 증폭하는 것은 당연지사.
<EP.5> Through Holydrop:
X got interested in the ‘Holydrop’, which leads deep into the center of JMTOWN. Holydrop is a restricted area open only for emergency situations. It’s a door to another world. It has been almost a forbidden legend in JMTOWN. However, X began to watch the human world little by little through it…
X는 JMTOWN의 중앙부 깊숙한 곳으로 이어지는 Holydrop (구멍)에 관심을 갖기 시작한다. Holydrop은 비상 상황에만 개방되는 제한구역. 그곳은 다른 세상으로 이동할 수 있는 차원의 문. JMTOWN에서는 거의 금지된 전설 같은 곳이었다. 그러나, X는 그 곳을 통해 인간 세상을 조금씩 지켜보기 시작하는데...
<EP.6> WOW, KOREAN STREET:
Through Holydrop, X saw Seoul, Korea in the human world. X looked closely at Korean food. X, who naturally got interested in Korean food, began to express his interest in the human world even when it was with Y and Z. The more curious X is, the more anxious Y and Z become.
Holydrop을 통해 본 인간 세상은, 한국의 서울이었다. X는 한국의 음식을 유심히 본다. 특이 현상의 원인을 찾아서.. 자연스레 한국에 관심이 생기기 시작한 X는 Y, Z와 있을 때에도 부쩍 인간 세상에 대한 관심을 표출하기 시작했다. 그의 호기심이 많아질수록, Y와 Z는 불안해진다..
<EP.7> Where is agent X?:
Then one day, Y and Z couldn’t find X no matter how hard they looked. In an uneasy premonition, Y and Z immediately begin to look for X. But it wasn’t there. As if it had disappeared from JMTOWN, X had disappeared without any trace.
그러던 어느 날 X가 보이질 않는다. 불안한 예감에 Y와 Z는 즉각적으로 X를 찾기 시작한다. 하지만 그는 없었다.
마치 JMTOWN 에서 사라진 것처럼, 어떠한 흔적도 없이 X가 사라졌다.
불안한 예감은 왜 빗나가지 않는가. Y와 Z는 어쩌면 예상했을 수도 있는 그 시나리오 대로였다. 그렇다. X는 이미 HOLYDROP을 거쳐 인간 세상으로 DROP중이었다.
<EP.8> To the human world:
An uneasy hunch was right. Y and Z were in the same situation as they expected. Yes, Yes, Yes! They were right. X was already dropping through Holydrop into the human world.
<EP.9 > Interesting foods in Seoul:
When Y and Z noticed X’s DROP, X already arrived in Seoul, Korea. And X started to observe Korean food with eyes full of curiosity. At that time, an unusual and subtle feeling that has never been felt before begins to wind around X.
Y, Z가 X의 DROP을 알아 차렸을 때, X는 한국의 서울에 도착한다. 그리고 한국 음식들을 호기심 가득한 눈으로 관찰하기 시작하는데... 그때, 지금까지는 느껴본 적 없는 이상 미묘한 느낌이 X를 휘감기 시작한다.
<EP.10> A whole new world:
X was starting to feel flavours that it hasn’t experienced in JMTOWN. X began to taste all the korean food in the street, and it couldn’t think of anything other than the food in front of it.
JMTOWN에서는 느껴보지 못했던 맛들이 느껴지기 시작한 것이다. X는 모든 음식을 맛보기 시작하고 눈 앞의 음식 이외의 다른 생각은 할 수가 없었다.
<EP.11> Where are you , agent X?: Meanwhile, Y and Z convinced that X left JMTOWN. They decided to bring X back to JMTOWN. Then they needed to go to the human world and find X. Accoridingly, Y and Z began to prepare themselves to go to the human world through Holydrop.
한편, X가 JMTOWN을 떠났음을 확신한 Y와 Z. 그들은 X를 JMTOWN으로 데리고 오기로 한다. 이에 Y와 Z는 자신들도 HOLYDROP을 통해 인간세상으로 갈 준비를 시작한다.
<EP.12> Finding agent X:
Y and Z were Dropped into the human world. They were in a hurry to find X in Seoul. They found traces of X. Where is X?? To be continued….
DROP되어 인간세상에 떨어진 Y와 Z. 서둘러 X를 찾아 서울을 누비는데….. X의 흔적을 발견한다…! X는 과연 어디에?.. To be continued..
